What to Pack for your Upcoming Holiday | A Refresher
Like a bear that’s been in hibernation for two years straight, we are SO excited to finally be able to dip our toes into the big wide world again!
The removal of the NZ Government’s condition of self-isolation* last week meant one thing for us, as we’re sure it did for many of you: holiday planning time.
In case, like us, you had to think really hard about what to pack on your first international getaway in Lord-only-knows-how-long, read on, we’ve got you covered.
Check out our packing checklist below.
What to pack in my in-flight bag for a short haul flight:
First up, having the right carry on bag is essential for any flight. We’d suggest our Project Ten Traveller. As the name suggests, it’s perfect for travel. Structured sides mean your bag’s contents won’t spill out the moment you reach for something, and the sturdy zip will keep things safe mid flight.
Our Jetsetter Short Haul Kit will be the first thing to pop in your in-flight bag, featuring everything you need to keep comfortable for the journey: A Washable Tissue, Jetsetter Self Heating Eye Mask, Natural Deodorant, Face Toner for relaxation and refreshing your skin, Hand Cream, Antibacterial Hand and Surface Spray, Lavender Towelettes, Eucalyptus Towelettes, Hair Tie, Toothpick, Cotton Buds, Plasters and a Vitamin C Lollipop.
We know it’s only likely across the ditch to Aussie or the pacific islands, but a change of clothes will never go amiss. Don’t forget a warm (but lightweight, like merino or cotton) layer to combat the air-con on the plane. Wear layers. Pacific Islands you will thank yourself for it.
Don’t forget your important documents; you know the type: Passport, itinerary, insurance documents, etc. etc. Pop them in a waterproof and easy to find zip lock bag like our Large custom travel pouch to match your Short Haul Kit.
Actually, it’s a good idea to compartmentalise all of your in flight bag goodies, which our custom Travelbag NZ bags are perfect for, as are the smaller options in Project Ten Range.
One of our Rolla Bottles is the perfect, compact option which can be rolled up and stored in your bag once you’re told to tip your liquids out.
Money - you’re going to need this on board the plane and when you land. Keep it handy with a Vivra beltless bumbag. Stylish while being perfect for on the go! These can also be dressed up with a strap to make them suitable for wearing out at night.
